Meet Our Founder and President
Welcome to the Remote Online Notary Association, better known as RONA. We are proud to introduce our founder and president, Yahaira Rodriguez, an experienced Florida Notary Public, remote online notary, educator, mentor, business owner, and advocate for the notarial profession.
Yahaira became a Florida Notary Public in 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in the notarial industry. In 2020, she expanded into Remote Online Notarization and quickly developed extensive hands-on experience serving signers remotely. Her professional background also includes managing and training a team of remote online notaries for a national title company.
As the owner of Legally Notarized, LLC, Yahaira provides both remote and in-person professional services to individuals, businesses, attorneys, title professionals, and other organizations. Her experience has given her a practical understanding of the legal, technological, and business considerations notaries face in an evolving industry.
Yahaira founded RONA to create a trusted professional community where notaries can receive meaningful education, practical resources, mentorship, networking opportunities, and continued support. Her mission is not only to help notaries understand Remote Online Notarization, but also to help them operate confidently, remain compliant, diversify their services, and build sustainable businesses.
Under Yahaira’s leadership, RONA has grown into a nationwide community committed to education, collaboration, professionalism, and advancement within the notarial industry. Through training programs, Coffee Chats, mentorship, professional partnerships, and real-world discussions, Yahaira and the RONA leadership team help members strengthen their knowledge and prepare for new opportunities.
Advocacy is also an important part of Yahaira’s work. She participates in industry and regulatory discussions affecting remote notarization and advocates for practical standards that protect the public while considering the real-world experiences of notaries and signers. She is committed to ensuring that notaries have informed representation as technology, laws, and professional expectations continue to evolve.
Yahaira’s leadership is rooted in experience, service, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. Through RONA, she continues to build a stronger, more educated, and better-connected notary community across the United States.
